In the beginning . . .

Picture a group of sixteen great friends who love travel and fashion. Each year we choose a destination and off we go. But...try as we might, we could not find the PERFECT travel tote. Who needs black and boring? You know what they say about necessity being the mother of... So two of us, ( Judy and Karen), sisters under the skin, decided to design our own totes. For one year we designed and tested one sample tote after another. Finally, success! Only then were we ready to market our Just Dotty tote bags. In September 2007, Dotty made her debut.

From a tote created for travel, Dotty has become the tote of choice for women of all ages, with pockets for sippy cups of all kinds. Professional moms, nurses, educators, and women in business have proven that Dotty's fabulous fabrics, gorgoeus trims and incredible details are the perfect answer for every occasion.

Responding to feedback from our customers, we soon added a new smaller tote size. Perfect for every day, the city tote is a scaled down version of our original design, but with all the features that Dotty is known for. Neutral colors and tailored trims make the city tote versatile enough to accessorize every color palette.
